Dr. William S. Spears earned his doctorate of business administration degree from Wayne Huizenga Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship at Nova Southeastern University. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s of science degree from Oklahoma State University. He has 30 years of experience in public school energy management. He served the Wichita Falls Independent School District as Trustee, Board Secretary, Board Vice President and Chairman of the Facilities Committee for six years. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE) and the Association of Energy Engineers. A registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas, Dr. Hoff earned his Doctor of Engineering in engineering management from Southern Methodist University and his MBA from Marquette University, after earning his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M. He joined Cenergistic after broad and varied experience with General Electric Corporation, during which he became a Six Sigma Certified Master Black Belt through GE’s renowned continuous improvement process. Dr. Hoff is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) through the Association of Energy Engineers. In 2010, he earned a Certificate in Sustainability from the Environmental & Civil Engineering Department at Southern Methodist University, and is a member of the Advisory Council for the Industrial & Systems Engineering Department at Texas A&M University. Dr. Hoff has experience in corporate auditing and supply-chain logistics and more than eight years of experience in educational energy conservation.
Mr. Bernard earned his MBA magna cum laude from Oklahoma City University, a bachelor’s degree in accounting summa cum laude from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a bachelor’s of music degree cum laude from Oklahoma Baptist University. He has been a CPA since 1986 and is a member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Bernard has eight years of experience with Kerr-McGee Corporation in a variety of financial and accounting capacities, including development and administration of budgeting and income projections for the Exploration and Production Division. Other experience includes work with Ernst & Young and Southwestern Bell Telephone. He has 17 years of educational energy conservation experience.
Mr. Fasnacht has more than 13 years of experience in educational energy conservation. His occupational background includes serving as a Naval Officer with specialization in the fields of management, repair, maintenance, and engineering systems. In addition, he has been a leader in the field of real estate with experience in real estate management, operations, marketing, sales, and providing consulting services to leading real estate firms. Mr. Fasnacht holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University; has graduated from the Naval War College, Newport, Rhode Island; and has earned his Master’s of Business Administration degree from Salve Regina University, Newport, Rhode Island. His community activities include serving his church as a Deacon. He retired from the Naval Reserve with the rank of Captain after more than 25 years of service. Mr. Fasnacht’s past awards include multiple sales and marketing achievement awards, with numerous awards for outstanding management and leadership.
Mr. Sons earned his MBA from Houston Baptist University with dual emphasis in computing system design and finance. He completed his bachelor’s degree in management information systems and quantitative studies from Texas Tech University. He is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) and Certified Sustainable Development Professional (CSDP) - all certifications by the Association of Energy Engineers. Mr. Sons is the former Senior Project Coordinator for Database/Telecommunications for Exxon Computing Services Company Worldwide, and Technical Support & Computing Security Manager for Exxon Credit Card Systems, Exxon USA. He has more than 22 years of experience in energy management services and more than 16 years of experience in educational energy conservation.
Judge Sparkman earned his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law and his bachelor’s in business administration from Midwestern State University. He served as 78th District Judge for more than eight years. Judge Sparkman is a member of the American Bar Association and a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation. As a member of the Wichita County Bar Association, he served as director and treasurer. He also served the State Bar of Texas as Director and in other committee roles. He is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell. He is Board Certified, Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Civil Trial Law since 1983. He earned a Certificate of Special Competence from the Texas College for Judicial Studies. Judge Sparkman served the Wichita Falls Independent School District (WFISD) on the Board of Trustees for 12 years, including two terms as president and one as secretary. He was a member of the WFISD Idea Grant Steering Committee. He was First Chairman for the Wichita County Education District. In addition to his educational service and many other community service activities, he served as chairman for First Baptist Church of Wichita Falls through a $23+ million dollar building project as well as fulfilling other committee duties. He served on the Southern Baptist Convention executive committee from 1998 – 2007, serving two terms as administrative officer and one as vice chairman.
Ms. Johnson earned her MBA from Webster University and her bachelor’s degree from Maryville University. She is a certified public accountant with more than 20 years of accounting experience and has been with Cenergistic since 2010. Ms. Johnson maintains Cenergistic’s financial integrity, analyses, plans and policies.
