ENERGY STAR Recognition Underscores Our Commitment to Sustainability

Since our founding, Cenergistic has worked with more than 1,250 organizations nationwide to save more than $3 billion in utility costs. This success has been validated by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, which has recognized Cenergistic and many of our clients for our joint work in energy conservation. To earn the EPA’s ENERGY STAR certification, a facility must be certified by a licensed engineer as being among the lowest 25% of buildings of its type, nationwide, in energy use per square foot, and must maintain the highest standards for the quality of its internal environment.

Cenergistic was awarded the 2013 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year - Sustained Excellence Award in recognition of the company's continued leadership in protecting the environment through superior energy conservation.

An ENERGY STAR partner since 2005, Cenergistic received the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Award in 2009 and 2010 and the Sustained Excellence Award in 2011 and 2012.

Recognition for Our Clients

The Department of Energy named Cenergistic the #1 "Service & Product Provider" for ENERGY STAR Certifications, with clients earning more than 5,250 recognitions.

Cenergistic clients are among the most energy-efficient organizations in the nation:

• More than 1,100 Cenergistic client buildings received ENERGY STAR Certification in 2012 alone. 
• 73% of all K12 ENERGY STAR Leader recognitions for 2012 were for Cenergistic clients.
• 65% of the total K-12 ENERGY STAR Top Performers are Cenergistic clients.
• Cenergistic clients have collectively earned more than 5,000 ENERGY STAR Certifications and more than 250 ENERGY STAR Leader recognitions or ENERGY STAR Awards.
• Nearly 150 Cenergistic clients were named ENERGY STAR Partners in 2012, representing higher education, school districts and healthcare organizations.

Since the ENERGY STAR Program's inception, numerous Cenergistic clients have received significant ENERGY STAR recognition, including:

• Loudoun County Public Schools in Ashburn, Virginia, received the 2013 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year - Sustained Excellence Award and the 2012 Sustained Excellence Award as well as 2010 and 2011 ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Awards.
• Indiana school district Decatur County Community Schools became the nation’s first and only ENERGY STAR 60 Percent Leader in recognition of the district’s extraordinary achievement of reducing energy consumption district-wide by more than 60%.
• The three ENERGY STAR 50 Percent Leaders — Decatur County Community Schools, Indiana; DeKalb County Central United School District, Indiana; and Holmdel Township Public Schools, New Jersey — are Cenergistic clients.
